(Durka Returns) Moya Collides with a Nebari Host Vessel and brings its
occupants on board. The Nebari Salis asks for a containment cell to hold the criminal they are transporting. It is Chiana
who is on her way to being mind cleansed just like Durka. When Durka has reverted to his old evil ways after an unsuccessful
assasination attempt by Rygel, Chiana takes the opportunity to escape her capture. John manages to convince her to help him
stop Durka from taking over Moya. It is only the beggining of the trouble and exploits aboard the ship for the young Nebari.
Chiana is sometimes an opportunistic theif, adventurer and free spirit
with an open sexuality that often has her refered to as a tralk. She very often comes up with surprising, mysterious, physiological
talents such as her deeper desire to be able to fly, a peculiar sensitivity or observation for things and a mysterious mentalisim
that possibly could leave her a bit paranoid at times as much as her inability to trust others very easily.
Chiana has a brother, Nerri, who is the lead of a resistance against
the Establishment of Nebari Prime (Taking the Stone) (A Clockwork Nebari). She and her brother recieved a contagion given
to them by Nebari Prime that is spread by sexual contact and is proposed to throw whole worlds into chaos
when activated. Nerri recieved an antibody from "someone higher up in the Establishment" and was forced to part company from
Chiana to illude their persuers. This wasn't right away though as Chiana and Nerri did make at least one or two stops together
to reek havoc (Home on the Remains).
Since (Loosing Time) Chiana has experienced a serious residual effect
of having been possessed by an Energy Rider for so long. At first she began to have precognitions but they eventually evolve
into being able to see present time at super slow speed, only to become blind afterwards. The blindness lasts longer and longer
each time. By (La Bomba, Bad Timing) Chiana has lost her site one last time and it has yet to of come back.
Nearly becoming the surrogate mother of Aeryn's child, tortured, battered,
covered in itchy plants stuffed down the access shafts, putting up with Sikozu, wanted not only by the Nebari but now also
the Peacekeeper's, going blind, darker, Chiana has more than her share of the Uncharted Territories much less Tormented
Space. Getting back with D'Argo would seem to be one thing going for her but so much more is left tossed up to question with
Chiana. What about that resistance with Nerri? Does her sight ever come back?
